Papa's Birthday

Nonni and Papa with their grandkiddies - Knox, Annie, Ryan and Jack

After a busy morning of getting Ryan's three month photos done (no, that was not fun - yes, we got some usable shots) and a photo with the Easter bunny (that was much easier than the professional photography, because he slept through it) we went to Ron and Joni's house to celebrate Papa's birthday.  Thank goodness for a (finally!) beautiful day.

We were able to sit outside in front of the house with all the kids - although it was difficult to protect them from the sun with just one flowery sun hat to share amongst the three babies.  Good thing Ryan has his cool new sunglasses - good for his eyes, not so effective for his bald head.  Well, I have to say, I don't think this January baby knew what to do with himself in the 70 degree (plus) weather.  We had to strip him down to his white t-shirt to keep him comfortable. After that, he seemed to enjoy the breeze on his bare legs and finally settled into a nap when we went in the house to enjoy soup, salad and pizza...and cake of course!

After watching Annie and Knox all day, I think Ryan is going to try to catch up with them as quickly as he can.  Please look at the attached photos - there are some cute ones with the kids together!  Looking forward to Papa's next birthday, I see potential for complete mayhem as all the little kids will be catching up with jack and walking, if not running, by then.
